Generally, enjoyed this stylish and upscale accommodation with knowledgeable staff from reception desk to restaurant and Spa. Wonderful and premier location to centre of Funchal was a plus. Went for dinner at Chalet Vicente, located within 5 minutes walking distance. The food in the a la carte restaurant was outstanding and fresh.
I didn't find food, so was a little disappointed.

In general, I liked my recently refurbished and decent sized room with nice views. The location couldn't be more amazing and premier in the Lido area. Moreover, it's next to lovely Madeira, shops, museums, gardens and art galleries and a rocky beachfront where there are watersports available such as jetski and parasailing. An a la carte restaurant for lunch was an advantage.

Everything was modern during 6 days, liked its wonderful and premier location next to restaurants and lido, center of Funchal and the local taxi rank. Our melia room was complete with the bathroom was beautiful-way bigger, enormous balcony and plenty plug sockets.

It was based in spotlessly clean building in a premier location, to the nearest Indian restaurant which was very good if you 're into Indian food. Had brunch in the Leeno's Bar & Restaurant, located nearby. Truly enjoyed my newly remodelled and large room with sea-view and plenty plug sockets plus a terrace. A nice shower and a shampoo were very handy.

The location was comfortable and decent, approx 10-15 minutes' walk from Lido. You could walk to shopping centres and convenience stores. No reason to complain, the venue met needs well, can recommend it.
